Lennon Jones possesses an impressive cache of creativity and is poised to become Atlanta’s next rising star to reach musical stardom. At a young age, Lennon’s interest in music became evident and was never met with skepticism. Having a father, who was a popular disc jockey on Atlanta radio, fueled his passion, as music became his singular focus.

“Making music is in my blood,” states the Alpharetta, Georgia, born musician, an assertion that is more fact than cliché. One would believe Lennon’s father knew his son would follow in his footsteps and thus christening him a name reflective of his idol, John Lennon. Born in a typical American household 20 miles north of Atlanta, Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon could be heard playing in the foreground.

The twenty-one year old Atlanta native displays an affinity for different genre of music. A myriad of genres are used to describe his eclectic sound, such as Retro-Modern, Bluesy R&B and Electro-Pop. Every since emerging on the scene and nurturing relationships with Tru Muzik, the Atlanta based artist is more excited than ever.

“We at a unique place in our relationship, its more like family than artist management. Their concerns and excitement for my project is enough evidence for me to know I’m in the right place,” he states.

After spending his early childhood battling demons and later drug addiction, Lennon found solace in expressing himself through his sensuous tenor as a vocalist and songwriter. Shortly afterwards, Jones was wowing family, friends and audience members, when he caught the attention of Stan Truitt and Frank Williams of Tru Muzik, an artist management and consultant firm.

Under Tru Muzik’s tutelage, Lennon Jones sharpened his skills as a singer/songwriter by spending countless days in the studio. Now armed with a catalogue full of songs, anchored by songs such as the bluesy guitar riffing, “Type of Night” to the electro-pop esque “OCD.” Then there is the raw, heartfelt and intensely personal, Zaytoven produced “Something New.”

Musically, Lennon delves into real life experiences, all the while embracing the hard times as learning curves.

While other artists have no other contingency plans on the horizon, other than music, Jones is taking a different route. In the works is a reality show tentatively titled, ‘The Lennon Jones Experience.’ The show will give viewers a front seat perspective into the burgeoning demands of his budding career.

With all his infectious vocal styling, being pigeonholed into a box is not a worry for the Southern-bred entertainer. Lennon’s songs are overflowing with passion, honesty, and optimism. It’s no denying he’ll capture the admiration of generations to come with the hopeful strength without sacrificing his musical talent.
